Different Types Of Carports

Metal Carports-

The most new carports on the market are made primarily of various types of metals. Metal carports are very long-lasting and can withstand extreme weather conditions such as wind and snow. Steel and aluminum are once again the most popular and cost-effective materials, especially steel. Before you buy any steel, make sure to check its strength and consistency.

There are three types of metal to begin your Metal carports-

Steel – These are normally painted with rust-free protection paint that keeps the metal’s integrity for a long time against the elements.

Alumawood – They are more aesthetically appealing because they lack the cheap feel of metals such as steel. It’s also available in a wide range of colors. However, unlike Steel Carports, the guarantee duration is much shorter, lasting only up to ten years.

Aluminum- The aluminum material is lightweight and is very durable like steel. It can get painted or galvanized  as per the one’s choice and also comes in with a lifetime warranty.

Triple Wide Carports-

Better than an enclosed garage, the triple wide carports are designed in a manner to cover up to three cars, trucks or any such type of vehicle. Although these units start at 26′ tall, we always suggest 30′ wide units for up to three cars because they give you plenty of room to get in and out. A 26′ large unit has just enough space for three compact cars, which may be sufficient for your current shelter needs, but we suggest that you also consider potential vehicle upgrades.

Utility Carports With Storage-

Utility carports are metal carport shelters with a storage room built into the unit that are intended to cover cars, trucks, or other types of vehicles. Utility carports, combo carports, and carports with storage are common terms used by carport manufacturers in the United States.

Metal A-Frame Carport-

The mid-grade line of the three roof systems we sell is the A-Frame Boxed Eave Carport. With a welded bolt, the roof connects to the legs. They’re famous because they have an A-Frame design and appear more expensive than regular roof carports.
